Batur 3-Day Volcano Traverse

What this actually is
Three days, two nights, one caldera. Day one climbs to the Batur rim for sunset; day two crosses the black lava field to the hot springs and a family homestay; day three takes Abang before the drive back.
This is the version for people who want the ridge without the 2am-in-a-van feeling. You sleep at 1,200 m on night one, so the sunrise start is a 4am walk-up, not a 2am pickup.
Porters carry the tents and food. You carry water, a jacket and your own bag — about 6 kg.

Pickup & cancellation
Pickup included from Ubud, Sanur and Kintamani. Anywhere south of the bypass adds USD 18–30 per vehicle, quoted in the chat before you commit.
Free up to 7 days before departure; 50% inside 7 days. If the mountain is closed by the authorities we refund in full or move you to another set of dates.

Day two is long and hot by 10am. Take the extra water they offer. Homestay food was the best of the trip.
