What this actually is
A table on the sand, a grill of snapper and prawns, and the planes coming in low over the water. It is the most tourist thing in Bali and it is still worth doing once.
You pick your fish from the ice at the front; the price is per 100 g and the crew weighs it in front of you. That is the whole trick to not getting overcharged on this beach.
We book the table, not the restaurant's set menu — you choose from the catch, and we tell you what a fair weight looks like for your group.

Touristy, yes. But dinner with your feet in the sand and planes overhead is a good memory. Prawns were excellent.
